I am Melody Rawlins and I am a recording/mixing engineer, bassist, guitarist, and harsh vocalist who specialises in all varieties of extreme metal.
Since my early teens I have had an interest in audio equipment which has only grown with time, leading to me currently doing a BSc in Audio Engineer and Production at Futureworks. I have been recording, producing, and releasing my own music since 2021, as well as more recently starting to be involved with other artist’s music as a recording and/or mixing engineer.
My first and main instrument is bass guitar, which I have been playing since I was around 12 years old and have become very proficient at playing. I started with both guitar and vocals at a similar time when I was 16 or 17, and I have since risen to a professional level with them.
Currently, I write and record all music for Wildflower, my blackened doom band, and play bass with some backing vocals live. I am also the lead guitarist in Galagh and guitarist and vocalist for Cruiser Class.
